o Human Albumin Infusion is used to treat blood volume loss. It works by replacing the body fluids lost due to excessive trauma, bleeding, surgery, or kidney dialysis. Thus, it is helpful in treating low blood albumin levels.

Albumin is a protein made by your liver. Albumin enters your bloodstream and helps keep fluid from leaking out of your blood vessels into other tissues. It is also carries hormones, vitamins, and enzymes throughout your body.

Albumin (human) injection is used to treat low blood volume (hypovolemia).

Albumin is made from human plasma (part of the blood) which may contain viruses and other infectious agents. Improvement of renal blood flow correlated with improvement in endothelial activation (r = 0.741, P < 0.001). Conclusions: The data suggest that albumin infusion improves renal function in acutely decompensated cirrhotic patients with acute kidney injury by impacting on renal blood flow autoregulation.
